Daniel Bendorf

President / Owner / Operator

Dan is president and owner of Probe Technologies, Inc. He has over 20 years of experience in drilling, direct push probing and subsurface investigations. He earned an associates degree from the University of Alaska, Anchorage in 1990 and a bachelors degree in Geology from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee in 1993. He has completed the 40-hour OSHA hazardous material training and subsequent refresher courses. He worked for a privately owned geotechnical and environmental drilling company from 1994 to 2001. His duties there included drilling inspection and supervision, monitoring well design and installation, operation of a Geoprobe® direct push unit, soil gas surveys, soil and groundwater sampling, and surveying. He served as vice president and drilling operations manager until his departure in March of 2001 when he started Probe Technologies. Since 1995 he has been successfully collecting soil and groundwater samples with a Geoprobe®. He has worked extensively on UST, PECFA, and CERCLA sites, as well as other environmental projects. As owner-operator accustomed to the demanding criteria of professional consultants, he has gained the experience necessary to collect the required data and assist the consultant’s field technician to successfully complete any project.

Eric Plante

Operator / Driller/ Geologist

Eric is a Geoprobe operator and driller at Probe Technologies, Inc. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Geology from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh in 2013. He completed the 40-hour OSHA hazardous material training and subsequent refresher courses. He worked as an environmental consultant from 2015 to 2022. Duties included  field sample collection, logging of soils, sediment, vapor, and water for site characterization. Supervision of NR 141 compliant monitoring well construction and abandonment. He has worked on various upland and sediment sites including: Polychlorinated Biphenyls (PCBs), Coal Ash Impoundments, WisDOT project corridors, and Manufactured Gas Plant (MGP) sites. He has an extensive understanding of the environmental consulting criteria and has the experience necessary to complete any project.
